The Chevy Trailblazer is a compact SUV that offers a sporty design, smooth performance, and strong fuel efficiency. It comes with two available turbocharged engine options: a 1.2L three-cylinder engine or a 1.3L three-cylinder engine, depending on the trim. Both options are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 9-speed automatic, depending on the drivetrain.
Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available for drivers who want more control in changing weather or on uneven roads. With responsive steering and a small turning radius, the Trailblazer is easy to maneuver in tight spaces, making it ideal for city drivers or small families.
While not built for heavy towing, the Trailblazer can handle up to 1,000 pounds when properly equipped—enough for a small trailer or extra gear.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo Room
The Trailblazer offers seating for up to five and provides surprising space for a compact SUV. Both rows offer good legroom, and the high roofline gives the cabin an open, airy feel. The rear seats fold flat to expand cargo capacity, and even the front passenger seat can fold forward to accommodate longer items.
In newer models, cargo capacity measures about 25.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats and up to 54.4 cubic feet with the second row folded. That gives you plenty of flexibility for groceries, weekend bags, or sports gear.
Interior features available across trims include heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and automatic climate control. The layout is modern, with soft-touch materials and smart storage options throughout the cabin.
