I asked for a sales person with a minimum of 2 years at this dealership. I was introduced to Elgin. I had very specific needs for my new truck and he patiently worked with me as we built it together online. We took three trips to the truck lot across the street to look at the various options on other trucks to help me visualize and make decisions since the vehicle with the options that I wanted was not in stock. Once we completed this process, Elgin found my truck in inventory at a partner dealership. It was delivered that evening. The dealership gave me a fair price on my trade-in and the deal was completed. One negative...it simply takes too long to complete the sale. I understand the paperwork involved, but since it was a cash deal it should have been simple. Elgin made it a little easier by completing more of that effort while I went home and before picking up the truck later. A second negative...leather seats needed to be installed on the vehicle. I was told it would require 24 hours so I left the vehicle the following Monday morning, but the third party vendor used by the dealer didn't return the vehicle until Thursday at 7pm. To take three and one half days is certainly over promising and under delivering. All told, Elgin made the total experience tolerable. Without his knowledge of Chevrolet's vehicles and options, I wouldn't have considered purchasing the vehicle otherwise.
